my bookshelf

to be very honest, i used to read. it used to take up most of my childhood time. i still remember collecting and reading numerous agatha christie novels alone at the library (sorry, this might sound a bit weird or psycho, but I was madly in love with typical whodunnit writing patterns…)

then, one day, it all paused. for a very long time, nothing could bring my focus back to pages for more than an hour, which is quite sad indeed.

after the pandemic, i set this little goal: just read. anything. instead of rushing to visualize everything in 10 seconds, i want to read, use words to build the frame. moodboards are cool, but would you agree literatures wield more power? anyway…

here’s a little monument to celebrate my progress and a splash of design satisfaction i constantly grant to myself.
